To confirm that Iris generated an event, open the Event Logs.

Select notifications in the search criteria.

If the event is in the log, it was sent via either email or SMS. Check with your providers. 

If the event is not in this log, then there may not be an alarm notification configured for this type of event. 

See Set Alarm Notifications under Monitoring on the control panel. There should be an alarm notification that matches the event.
