User dashboards are a collection of widgets that allow specific items to be displayed in a customised way. User dashboards are specific to a user and personalised to show the data as required.

Each widget has a parameter to set the refresh rate for the specific widget. The Device Health and Customer Health dashboards will refresh every 60 seconds.

Create a dashboard

From the User Dashboards page, click + on the top right of the page.

The Create dashboard pop-up will be displayed.

Dashboard name: Choose a unique name for the dashboard.

Description: Provide a description for the dashboard.

As you start typing in the View Code field, a list will appear and you can select the correct View Code from the list.

The Layout will determine the size of the dashboard display screen. This will open in a new browser window.

When you Lock the dashboard, users with user access level aren’t able to edit the dashboard or its widgets.

You can choose to display the time controls on the dashboard. Leaving this unchecked will mean that there will be no time controls on the dashboard.

Click Save.

Add a widget

Once a dashboard has been created, you will need to add widgets. Go back to the list of dashboards and find the dashboard that you have already created. Click on it to open the dashboard.

Scroll down to the bottom of each column of the dashboard you will be able to click to add a widget.

Type in a title for the widget. Select a widget via the radio box and click Add.

The initial widget will be blank. So now you need to select the properties icon to configure the widget. We have selected interfaces for this example.

Edit a dashboard

To edit an existing dashboard, open the User Dashboards page. Select the dashboard that you would like to edit by clicking on the actions column.
