How to create a new user

On the Users screen, click the + at the top of the page.




Complete the Full Name and Email Address for the new user.

Type in a Username.

Type in a Password. This password can be a simple password for the user to log in the first time, then click the Force change on next login. The user will have to change the password as they log in to Iris for their first time.

Select a Role.

Type in a View Filter if the user must only be able to see or have access to a specific view.

Either select Default, or alternatively, a specific landing page from the drop-down list.

Click Save.



Edit a user

To edit a user, go to the Manage Users page and click the edit icon at the top of the page or in the actions column.


Deleted users

Iris does not delete any usernames from the database. If a user has been deleted, you will be able to see the user by clicking on the icon on the top right of the screen.

Clicking on the icon will reveal all the deleted users. To edit one of these users, click the undelete icon in the actions column.


How to generate a list of all the users

Select the columns that you would like to show on your list and select All from the entries drop-down.

Now click the CSV icon which will generate a CSV file with all the users in Iris.


How to switch a customer view

You are able to switch users within the Iris System. This will enable you to see your customer’s screen.


Click on your login name/number on the right of the navigation bar.


Select Switch user from the drop-down.

Click on the switch user icon (arrow and door) in the Actions column in the row of the user that you would like to switch to.





The default page of the new user will be displayed. To log out, go to the user’s name on the top right of the screen again as above.
